Mountain Bike Summer Trails
|
2007 Bike Information
Please note that there are
changes in the uphill riding policies at Winter Park this summer.
Certain trails have been designated downhill riding only, as well as no
hiking, during operational hours. These include The Downhill, Lower
Long Trail below 5 Points and Cheyenne. Before 10am and after 6pm
bikers may elect to ride up Winter Park trails but must always be aware
that there may be downhill riders. A sign that states this policy is
located at the Snoasis gate where Tunnel Hill connects to the
resort. An alternate uphill route for those riders coming into the
resort at Little Vasquez is up the summer road from the bottom of
Mountain Goat and Little Vasquez to Arapaho and up Arapaho to 5 points.
Then up the upper Long trail, to the top.
Additionally please check out the new bike carriers installed on the
Zephyr Express which is the first of its kind in the United States.
Fashioned after Whistler, it will make the transport of bikes on the
lift easier for both our guests and employees and shows the commitment
of Winter Park to becoming a leader in the Mountain Bike Resort
experience.
